As an act of mutiny, Garfinkel Vaclav is going to attempt to murder Capt. Hartley Guillermo, whose decision-making aboard the Phytogenic has been seen by some passengers as reckless and potentially life-endangering. Garfinkel Vaclav attempted to murder Capt. Hartley Guillermo as an act of mutiny, but failed. A punishment is now being decided for Garfinkel Vaclav and his conspirators in the failed mutiny attempt: Kip Noland, Lanie Vaclav, Suellen Vaclav, Vina Prasun, and Renie Noland. Since there are no nearby uninhabited islands on which the conspirators could be marooned, they will be hanged aboard the ship. Betta Guillermo's father, Capt. Hartley Guillermo, ordered the hanging of 16-year-old Kip Noland at sea aboard the Phytogenic as capital punishment for a failed mutiny attempt in which Kip tried to murder Hartley.
