Mendel Jordan has made it clear that, because it was his decision for the ship to be commandeered, he will serve as its captain, though Gene Jordan had some something to say about that. Capt. Mendel Jordan was designated captain of the Semisocialism, which will depart Nahant shortly; he has 3 years of ship-captain experience, including on the Semisocialism from 385 to 387. The Semisocialism, under command of Capt. Mendel Jordan, has left the harbor at Nahant, New Waterford. The Semisocialism is heading S at half-speed. Capt. Mendel Jordan has fallen ill.
