Basic Concepts

There are a couple of components you are going to use for the project:

1. code implementations of a given project problem using both Fortran and Python,
2. version control your code development via git,
3. scientific writeup using LaTex,
4. publication of your code and report on a website using Sphinx

Final Term Projects – Due 6 pm, December 7, 2016

There are two types of projects:

• Project Type A: Numerical linear algebra

  2. Project description
• Project Type B: Numerical advection-diffusion PDE
  3. Reading material
  4. Project description

You need to choose one of them based on your interests. Please email the instructor and TA let us know your choice by 6 pm, Wed, November 23, 2016.
