A course in desktop publishing using PageMaker and LaTeX or HTML. Assumes familiarity with Macintosh computers. Emphasis is on analysis and design of page-layout, but copy-editing, font choices, and some history of printing are included.
Adobe's type page. This location is great for information about type, type designers, using type, and lots of other type-related info. Their Web service is sometimes a bit slow though, so you might be best to avoid mid-afternoon peak hours.
