He is named after his father's uncle, Wald Aldis. 6 people came to meet Wald Aldis for the first time this year: Katha Vaclav, Lorinda Aldis, Wald Aldis, Lauri Aldis, Douglas Aldis, and Quintus Aldis. A language barrier precluded other potential new friendships for Wald this year.

Lorinda Aldis agreed to go on the journey; their children Lauri Aldis, Wald Aldis, and Douglas Aldis will also come along. Lorinda Aldis is not willing to go on the journey; Quintus is fervent about going, however, and has decided that he will board the ship and leave his family behind. Geof Vaclav's shipmates have decided that he would make the best captain, though Harmon Aldis may disagree. The Pharmacomania, under command of Capt. Geof Vaclav, has left the harbor at Fort Payne, Bellefontaine. The Pharmacomania is heading N at three-quarter speed. Since there are no nearby uninhabited islands on which the conspirators could be marooned, they will be hanged aboard the ship. Capt. Geof Vaclav ordered the hanging of 44-year-old Letti Vaclav at sea aboard the Pharmacomania as capital punishment for a failed mutiny attempt in which Letti tried to murder Geof. Capt. Geof Vaclav ordered the hanging of 65-year-old Harmon Aldis at sea aboard the Pharmacomania as capital punishment for a failed mutiny attempt in which Harmon tried to murder Geof. This was his second victim. Capt.
