Hartwell Aldis's shipmates have decided that he would make the best captain, though Welby Aldis may disagree. The Aphthongia, under command of Capt. Hartwell Aldis, has left the harbor at Bell Buckle, Bettles. The Aphthongia is heading W at half-speed. As an act of mutiny, Welby Aldis is going to attempt to murder Capt. Hartwell Aldis, whose decision-making aboard the Aphthongia has been seen by some passengers as reckless and potentially life-endangering. Welby Aldis attempted to murder Capt. Hartwell Aldis as an act of mutiny, but failed. A punishment is now being decided for Welby Aldis and his conspirators in the failed mutiny attempt: Capt. Jacquetta Prasun, Evonne Gilles, and Rodger Aldis. Capt. Hartwell Aldis has decided that the conspirators will be hanged aboard the ship. Elsy Aldis's brother, Capt. Hartwell Aldis, ordered the hanging of 40-year-old Capt. Jacquetta Prasun at sea aboard the Aphthongia as capital punishment for a failed mutiny attempt in which Jacquetta tried to murder Hartwell.
