Smith Vaclav accepted an invitation from Whit Aldis to leave Cummington on the Energumen, but will have to consult family. Elke Vaclav eagerly agreed to go on the journey; their children Esme Vaclav and Ferdie Vaclav will also come along. Esme Vaclav moved out of Myke House in Cummington. Esme Vaclav boarded the Energumen from the port of Cummington, Waterford. The group about to board the Energumen has decided that, rather than Whit Aldis naming himself captain outright, the passengers will decide who their captain will be democratically. Tadd Gilles's shipmates have decided that he would make the best captain. The Energumen, under command of Capt. Tadd Gilles, has left the harbor at Cummington, Waterford. The Energumen is heading N at three-quarter speed. Esme Vaclav's younger sister, Gavrielle Vaclav, was born in Energumen. Scotty Zollie murdered 47-year-old Smith Vaclav at sea aboard the Energumen. Esme Vaclav's father, Smith Vaclav, was murdered aboard the Energumen by Scotty Zollie; he was 47 years old. Scotty Zollie murdered 27-year-old Ferdie Vaclav in self-defense at sea aboard the Energumen, after the latter tried to murder her. This was her second victim. Esme Vaclav's half-brother, Ferdie Vaclav, was murdered aboard the Energumen by Scotty Zollie, who was acting in self-defense; he was 27 years old. Esme Vaclav died at sea aboard the Energumen from complications related to infancy; he was only a year old.
