189.   Shannen Theodora Aldis was born to Willie Aldis and Dru Aldis in the town of Logan, on the island of Hornbeak. She is named after her mother's aunt, Shannen Prasun. 6 people came to meet Shannen Aldis for the first time this year: Dru Aldis, Renato Zollie, Wells Zollie, Willie Aldis, Sean Zollie, and Shannen Aldis. A language barrier precluded other potential new friendships for Shannen this year.

Shannen Aldis's parents Dru Aldis and Willie Aldis divorced after 2 years of marriage; they had 2 children together. They saw each other just last year in in the wilderness of Hornbeak. (Bathsheba had recently found this out from Friedric Noland.)

197.   Willie Aldis is looking for a good site to build a house on land that has been picked out for a soon-to-be-established settlement. Shannen Aldis moved into Aldis House in Harvard. Shannen Aldis moved out of Aldis House in Wilderness of Hornbeak. Shea Guillermo, Caressa Aldis, Mariette Guillermo, Willie Aldis, Shannen Aldis, Shea Guillermo, Shannen Aldis, and Caressa Aldis, who met in the woods due to the close proximity of their campsites, started a new settlement on Hornbeak called Harvard.
198.   In Aldis House, their home, Shannen is attending to Willie Aldis, who has fallen ill and is likely to die soon. Shannen Aldis's mother, Willie Aldis, died in Harvard, Hornbeak, after showing symptoms of disease; she was 35 years old. Shannen visited her friend Shea Guillermo, who has fallen ill and is likely to die soon. Disease broke out in Harvard; two people died.
