Subject: Guobao's Case - Update V

 I paid a visit to Guobao during 5/1 holiday in Nanjing.
 I met him and his wife at their home. Guobao goes to 
 hospital for treatment on a regular basis. His wife is
 staying home to take care of him. 
 
 I passed about $300 donation received in recent weeks to
 him. So far we collected $2200+ donations and $2100+ 
 was passed over to him. I want to mention that Wang 
 Jianhua of 7772 sent $100 last week. We got donations
 from all 3 classes of 777.
 
 Guobao received some cards and letters from classmates.
 I can tell that those cards/letters gave him a lot of
 encouragement. He is expecting a few classmates to visit
 him in Nanjing in the summer. It is a very good feeling
 that after so many years all classmates still have a 
 strong bond to this group, although many of us are working
 in different fields.
 
 Guobao's daughter is attending Nanjing Foreign Language 
 School and is doing very well in her class. She got a 
 math competition award at a national level event.
 
 It was a short visit. I hope I took all of good wishes 
 from all classmates to Guobao. Let's hope he can win 
 this fight.
