Subject: Suggestion to 7771 Fellows

 I received a few notes from you guys about whether
 you need to do more to reach 7771 classmates. Based
 on my experience on Luo Guobao's case, we can not
 depend on 777 Web site to reach most people. Many
 7773 classmates responded only after I forwarded them
 the web board message by e-mail.
 
 Since the board has been quiet for quite a few months,
 most people don't visit it regularly. If some people
 do not respond, it is OK, but I believe most people 
 value that period of life regardless what field they
 are in right now. We have only a few 7773 classmates
 still working in geochemistry/geo-sciences, but we have
 14 people responded in two days with donations already.
 
 So, you may want to give it a try as suggested by Zhao
 Lianshe to reach out to your classmates. You may find
 most people are waiting for your call out there.
