Subject: About Las Vegas

If you have not been in Vegas for a while, let me remind you something you do not want to miss
when you are there, especially you have your family with you.
Make sure you participate the USTC 777 Reunion Party in Tropicana. This may be a life time
 opportunity for you.
Las Vegas is always hot, hot action hot show, temperature will be around 90 - 100 F.
But it is dry so not feel that bad. During the day most of people stay inside the Hotel or
Casino where air conditioning make you cool. After sunset, it may be a best time to go
out to walk down the strip.
Buffet everywhere at very reasonable price tag. Do not choose ones that are too cheap.
All new hotels have place for kids such as arcades and fast food, etc.
There are three major spots in the town: around Tropicana, around Mirage, and old town
 Fremont Street.
Free shows: Volcano eruption in front of Mirage Hotel, Pirate Battle at Treasure Island Hotel.
Acrobatic show inside of Circus Circus. Fremont St. light-and Sound show.
Make a call to check the schedule.
 A few Hotels you should visit: MGM Grand and its modern, small-scale Disneyland Park;
Luxor and its three visual-effect show and modern arcades; New York-New York and its high
roller coaster around; Mirage with its white tiger and Jungle; Monte Carlo; Stratosphere with
the American tallest observation tower and its roller coaster over 1,000 ft high; Caesars Palace
with its new Caesar Magical Empire shopping paradise,........ many many things too new
for me to catch up. Get a guide book with picture and schedule your busy trip.
In addition to classical Las Vegas Adult shows there are many family shows you can choose, like
shows in MGM, Excalibur, Luxor, Mirage, Treasure Island,.....
If you want to go around, you may go see Hoover Dam which is about 25 miles away a truly
engineering master project. You can schedule to go to Grand Canyon, go to Los Angeles and San Diego
to see Disney, Hollywood, and many more.
You may go to Las Vegas Web Site to surf: www.lasvegas.com.

I am sure you will enjoy the stay. Have a good trip.
