I am a researcher at Intel Labs. I graduated from the Computer Science department at University of California, Santa Cruz, advised by Professor Lise Getoor. I was a part of the LINQS UCSC group.
I had a very exciting internship experience this summer at Intel Labs. I had the opportunity to work with Lama Nachman on a project that involved extracting "intent" from SMS messages.
My research interests include statistical relational learning, probabilistic graphical models, computational linguistics, particularly for socio-behavioral modeling. One of my previous projects includes fine-grained sentiment analysis in product review domains. I am currently working on aspect-based sentiment analysis in forums of Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs). I am also interested in topic models that include domain knowledge and graph structure.
