Logging On...
...from an ITS Instructional Computing Windows machine.
Click on Start in the lower left corner, then Internet Tools,
then Unix-Telnet & SSH, then one of teach or learn.
Type your username and password when prompted.
You can repeat the above steps to create two or more windows. You
will normally want at least two, one for editing, and one for compiling
and running your programs.
If you are using emacs (the recommended editor) you may need to do the
following, after loggin in. Choose setup from the telnet window menu,
then keyboard, then make sure the MetaKey box is checked, then OK.

In BE105, you will be running Solaris, a version of Unix.
Type your username and password into the Unix login
screen. The computer should come up after that with a console window
and an Xterm window. The later is where you type your commands.
