CMPS 160/L -- Introduction to Computer Graphics

Latest Information:

• Jun 7: For next Wednesday, submission of final project materials will be turned off at noon. We will not start the presentations until this is done. Attendance is mandatory.

• Jun 7: Be sure to check your online grades before next Wednesday. Contact dennis, yani or myself if there's any discrepancies. Final grades will be posted soon after the final project presentations. Any changes to fix discrepancies will not be processed beyond next Wednesday. There are 2 parts to the online grades.
  • 160 lecture:
    • The total grade (2nd column) is out of 82 since it does not include the final project scores yet.
    • It does include early bonus points for programs, so some of you will notice that your score is higher than 82.
    • Maximum program scores will be capped at 50% of lecture grades.
    • The two midterms are weighted 60-40 in your favor. Since they account for half of your 160 grade, their weights are 30 and 20 percent.
  • 160 lab:
    • All components for 160 labs have been posted
    • Lab 8 is treated as bonus with weight of 10%. Total possible score is 110.
    • Attendance is weighted 30, while the labs are 10 each.

• Jun 7: Prog 4 grades are now posted.

• Jun 7: Mid 2 is now posted. Most people got #4 (texture mapping). Only 3 people knew how to derive delta Z sub x and y in #3 (this was an ungraded homework that was assigned like 3 times). For #1, about 1/2 the class knew it while the other 1/2 did not. Majority of the class got #2 (viewing), though some people still had difficulty.

• Jun 7: Lab attendance is now posted.

• Jun 3: Lab 7 and Lab 8 grades are now posted.
