Background
I am a sixth year PhD candidate in the Paleogenomics Labs at UC Santa Cruz.
I have previously earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees
in Biochemistry at the University of California,
Riverside.
Most recently, I worked at the USDA ARS Salinity Laboratory
for three years measuring the elemental composition of salt-treated plant samples.
I study carnivores, extinct and extant! One of my current research projects is studying the health of puma populations across North and South America. Check out our paper.
