This quarter (Winter 2012) you also have the option of purchasing an e-book from McGraw-Hill which has just the chapters with assigned reading: Chapters 1,2, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 3 (in that order) from the second edition of the text. Some of these chapters have only a few sections which will be assigned; it was not possible to select content by sections.
