The Cyberslug is licensed exclusively to the Jack Baskin School of
Engineering at UCSC.  No one else has permission to use it.

Mike Welles was the original designer of the Cyberslug, but retains copyright.


"Mike retains the copyright to the CyberSlug, but has given the
Computer Engineering and Computer & Sciences Boards an exclusive and
perpetual license to use the logo as it sees fit. Commercial or other
use of the logo is disallowed."

The license was extended to the School of Engineering when it was started.
