Narrative

378.   The Paratroop was built in Glencoe, Diomede, by Kam Vaclav. It is the first ship that he has completed.
400.   Fabio Gilles is trying to gather up a group of people in Glencoe for an expedition on the Paratroop, which Fabio Gilles has agreed to lead. The group about to board the Paratroop has decided that, rather than Fabio Gilles naming himself captain outright, the passengers will decide who their captain will be democratically. Fabio Gilles's shipmates have decided that he would make the best captain. As the only person embarking the Paratroop, which will depart Glencoe shortly, Fabio Gilles will naturally serve as its captain; he has never captained a ship before. Capt. Fabio Gilles has boarded the Paratroop from the port of Glencoe, Diomede; he will be embark on this voyage alone. The Paratroop, under command of Capt. Fabio Gilles, has left the harbor at Glencoe, Diomede. The Paratroop is heading NE at full-speed.
401.   The Paratroop is heading NE at full-speed.
402.   The Paratroop is heading E at quarter-speed. The Paratroop's lone passenger has spotted land. The Paratroop is approaching an apparently uninhabited island. A new island was discovered by the crew of Paratroop. They call it New Diomede, in homage to the ship's homeland, Diomede. On it, they have founded a port called Cook Springs.
407.   Capt. Fabio Gilles, who captained the Paratroop from 400 to 402, died in Cook Springs, New Diomede, of natural causes; he was 59 years old.
