Narrative

326.   The Tarsophyma was built in St. Joseph, Waterford, by Franklyn Vaclav. It is the first ship that he has completed. Rafael Aldis is trying to gather up a group of people in St. Joseph for an expedition on the Tarsophyma, which Rafael Aldis has agreed to lead. Rafael Aldis has made it clear that, because it was his decision for the ship to be commandeered, he will serve as its captain, though Renard Gilles openly questions his ability. Rafael Aldis was designated captain of the Tarsophyma, which will depart St. Joseph shortly; he has never captained a ship before. Thaddeus Myke, Nikki Myke, Tobey Aldis, Manya Aldis, Demosthenis Noland, Griffith Vaclav, Cherise Prasun, Baily Vaclav, Ellen Vaclav, Edie Aldis, Capt. Rafael Aldis, Nelli Aldis, Juanita Vaclav, Alfonso Vaclav, Sile Vaclav, Beverly Vaclav, Lurleen Aldis, Christy Aldis, Rici Gilles, Renard Gilles, Maryann Gilles, Val Melvin, Franklyn Vaclav, and Sean Gilles have boarded the Tarsophyma from the port of St. Joseph, Waterford. The Tarsophyma, under command of Capt. Rafael Aldis, has left the harbor at St. Joseph, Waterford. The Tarsophyma is heading N at half-speed. As an act of mutiny, Renard Gilles is going to attempt to murder Capt. Rafael Aldis, whose decision-making aboard the Tarsophyma has been seen by some passengers as reckless and potentially life-endangering. Renard Gilles attempted to murder Capt. Rafael Aldis as an act of mutiny, but failed. A punishment is now being decided for Renard Gilles and his conspirators in the failed mutiny attempt: Thaddeus Myke, Alfonso Vaclav, Sile Vaclav, Beverly Vaclav, Cherise Prasun, Christy Aldis, Rici Gilles, and Lurleen Aldis. The Tarsophyma is approaching a desolate island on which the conspirators of the failed mutiny attempt will be marooned. Renard Gilles, Thaddeus Myke, Alfonso Vaclav, Sile Vaclav, Beverly Vaclav, Cherise Prasun, Christy Aldis, Rici Gilles, and Lurleen Aldis were marooned on an uninhabited island, which the Tarsophyma immediately departed. The island formerly called Cursed Isle was rediscovered by a company of failed mutineers marooned by Capt. Rafael Aldis of the Tarsophyma. It is now known as Maroon. Manya Aldis died at sea aboard the Tarsophyma from complications related to infancy; she was only a year old.
