Eileen Gilles's mother, Brunhilde Vaclav, died at sea aboard the Advection of natural causes; she was 69 years old. As an act of mutiny, Bear Gilles is going to attempt to murder Capt. Sancho Vaclav, whose decision-making aboard the Advection has been seen by some passengers as reckless and potentially life-endangering. Bear Gilles attempted to murder Capt. Sancho Vaclav as an act of mutiny, but failed. A punishment is now being decided for Bear Gilles and his conspirator in the failed mutiny attempt, Eileen Gilles. The Advection is approaching a desolate island on which the conspirators of the failed mutiny attempt will be marooned. Bear Gilles and Eileen Gilles were marooned on an uninhabited island, which the Advection immediately departed. Eileen Gilles and Bear Gilles divorced after 7 years of marriage; they did not have children together. Bear Gilles and Eileen Gilles decided that Eileen will stay in their formely shared quarters aboard the Advection, and Bear will leave. A newly discovered island is now inhabited by a company of failed mutineers marooned by Capt. Sancho Vaclav of the Advection. They call it Cursed Isle.
