I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Animal Genetics and Genomics Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I received a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics in 2018 from University of California, Santa Cruz. I use bioinformatics to study evolutionary and molecular biology. My primary project in grad school involved the evolution and mechanisms of temperature-dependent sex determination in the American alligator, Alligator mississippiensis.
