Supersonic Banana Slug

This is a numerical simulation using the FLASH code. The initial flow condition has a velocity set by a free stream Mach number of 1.2, within which a cute little banana slug is flying supersonically with an angle of attack 10 degree. The numerical simulation has been obtained using six levels of adaptive mesh refinements, each block has 16×16 grid resolutions. The flow evolution is achieved using the 5th order WENO-Z reconstruction algorithm, MC slope limiter, and the HLLC Riemann solver.
