Online teaching in the spring of 2020

Several people have been insisting that UCSC needs to provide equipment in order for us to be able to teach online during the COVID-19 outbreak, so here’s a list of what I think I’ll need to be a teaching assistant for STAT 132 - Classical and Bayesian Analysis:

• A pencil (I already have this)
• A notebook (I already have this)
• A smartphone with the Zoom app and a camera (I already have this)
• An internet connection (I already have this)

Huh. On second thought, UCSC doesn’t need to buy any expensive equipment for me to do my job.
