Two Twenty Three Kilogram Suitcases

Simply, my first Persian novel written back in 2012! This is a relatively short fiction about a boy about to leave his homeland to pursue his dreams and aspirations. With a first person narrative, the story unveils personal, social, and cultural reasons that he is considering immigration. By working through emotional and logical twists as he is spending his last hours in the airport, he is trying to understand and reassure himself of the decision he is about to make. As a seris of flashbacks to his own life and memories, he is exploring the sense of identity he has created for himself. Although never published, the story was acclaimed by many readers and was downloaded over 5 thousand times.
