Viscerally Viral

Welcome to the website hosting the projects of Film 170A, UCSC, by April Grow!

There have been a lot of themes being kicked around during the duration of this course (including, but not limited to, viruses, infection, hosts, organs/organisms, and survival). The readings for this particular assignment, however, had a strong vein of binaries: contradictory pairs that I have not made as my focus since quilting with my aunt.

I decided to make the major focus of this website those binaries, while creatively showcasing, previewing, and allowing the download of my assignments made throughout the quarter. However, you can clearly see the correlation between elements of this site with other themes seen in this course, as this website was also to be a culmination of that learning.

I hope you enjoy!

~April

Description:
come up with a cure, treatment, response:
in your mockup, you...
1) read through some of the texts and artworks that begin to address themes of curation, cure, and care.
2) considered working with some of this text and or the concepts in your portfolio page.
3) looked at your work and consider ways texts of curation and cure and care could weave around the display of your work to date.
for your actual website, you will realize your mock-up, employing a menu, floating divs, and other positioning techniques using DHTML.
