I am working as a researcher in Multimedia Interaction and Understanding Lab (MIUL), HP Labs. Palo Alto. Here is my new website.

 

I obtained my Ph.D in Visual Computing Lab of Department of Computer Engineering

at University of California, Santa Cruz working with Prof. Hai Tao.

I received my B.Eng. in Department of Computer Science of Zhejiang University in 2001, 

M.Eng in State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University, 2004.

 

My current research interests include:

 

Computer vision: image/video analysis, tracking, recognition, large scale image retrieval etc. 

Computer graphics: computational photography, non-photorealistic rendering, etc

Machine learning: online learning, ensemble methods, etc.
