Research and Work Experience

• April 2008 - Present: Worked as an engineer Computer Vision group at NASA JPL.
• June 2007 - September 2007: Worked on automated defect classification in printed circuits as part of internship at HP Labs.
• June 2006 - September 2006: Worked on object tracking as part of internship at Vidient, Inc.
• May 2005 - March 2006, September 2006 - June 2007, September 2007 - Present: Visual Computing Lab at UC Santa Cruz, working under Professor Hai Tao.
• May 2005 - October 2005. Worked on distance learning research with Professor Patrick Mantey.

Skills

• Can program in: C, C++, Java, MATLAB, HTML, PHP, MySQL, Perl.
• Knowledge of the OpenCV library.
• Deeply familiar with MATLAB and its many abilities.
• Experience designing programs with windows interfaces.
• Ability to design clean websites with advanced functionality.
• Standard computer use skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
• Familiarity with various operating systems: Unix, Linux, Windows, Mac OS X.
• Familiar with standard hardware lab equipment, ie: Soldering Iron, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generators, Power Supply Units, PROM Burners, etc.
