Welcome to Sasha's page
I'm a graduate student at the School of Engineering of the Univeristy of California, Santa Cruz. I have completed my M.S. in Computer Science, and now foucs on completing a Ph.D. I am part of the Storage Systems Research Center. Presently, I work on a file systems query/naming language and interface. My previous research involved the design and implemntation of the linking file systems, intended to run in storage-class memories (formerly MRAM). My advisor is Prof. Carlos Maltzahn.

My research interests include, but are not limited to: alternative file system respresentations, user interfaces for systems, distributed systems, and digital audio.
