Laboratory 3a
Week of February 3, 1997
In this lab, you will complete the memory system and run your program.
Demonstrate it to the TA before next week's lab -- people who
complete lab 3 late will receive half credit for this lab. People who
have not completed lab 2/2a by early in this weeks lab will receive
half credit for lab 2.
- Read the reference manual, especially sections 3 and 5, and the
introduction to HC11 programming.
- Read about the HC11's serial interface.
- Prepare a test program that sends data, such as a repeated 1 or
2-character sequence out the serial interface at a slow baud rate,
though the level converters.
- Complete Laboratory 2.
- If you have time, write in the level converter.
- If you have time, run your test program, and use the scope to
observe the signal coming out the serial port.
