About Me

I am a first year Ph.D student in the MASC Research Lab at the University of California, Santa Cruz(UCSC). My research focuses on computer architecture and CPU design. I am currently exploring complete design flow from from front-end design and synthesis to back-end implementation.

I am the lead architect on the SCOORE Research project. SCOORE is an Out-Of-Order, SuperScalar, Sparc V8 processor under development by our lab. It is a dual target FPGA/ASIC CPU, it is our belief that this project will serve as an infrastructure to research dealing with variability, multi-core designs, and thread level speculation, amongst many other architecture related areas. As of June 2009, we aim to have the project completed no later than June 2010.

Under the direction of Prof. Jose Renau.
