Visualizing the after-effects of earthquakes with respect to the money spent rebuilding

Project Description:
This project intends to create a visualization of where money was spent after an earthquake. The earthquakes under consideration would probably be
every major, well-documented earthquake within the past 50 years. Major here means that the magnitude on the Moment Magnitude scale is greater than or equal to eight with one exception. Earthquakes under consideration; therefore, are:
- 1964 Alaska Earthquake
- 1985 Mexico City Earthquake
- 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake
- 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake
- 2008 Sichuan Earthquake
- 2010 Chile Earthquake
- 2011 Tohoku Earthquake
Goals:
The primary goal of this project is too help people understand where money is spent after an earthquake happens. Other goals might come into
light as the project progresses.

- Gather sufficient data with regards to all the earthquakes mentioned above
- Start thinking about the best method to use to implement the project

- Order the data accumulated in a reasonable way
- Start writing a program to visualize the data

March 5 - March 16 |
- Finish writing the program
- Make sure the program produces the image that was desired
