- 3/17/08: Midterm 2 is now graded. Note that midterm1 and midterm2
are weighted differently depending on which one is higher.
Progs 3 and 4 are not graded yet.
- 2/29/08: The deadline for program 3 has been extended to Mar. 1
- 2/20/08: Prog4 has been posted. Check the
approved list of projects
if you haven't sent my your preliminary list yet -- DUE TONIGHT.
- 2/20/08: Graphics talk on 2/21 from 4-5:45pm at 506-E2.
Speaker: Tim Wilson, Title: "Parallelism in programmable graphics hardware".
Tim works on low-level graphics coding for The Sims PC game at Electronic
Arts. He worked at Trident Microsystems and was involved with the early
specs for DirectX 10. Talk is part of CE 220 class.

due by midnight tonight!

- 1/31/08: The online score link is now working -- click on the left
column to see how you did relative to the class, hover over your grade
to get comments about your program. Max score is 6% (5% + 1% bonus).

The submit locker is now ready! Remember that if you submit before
midnight Tuesday, you get the 1% early bonus. If you submit after
midnight Wednesday, you get 1% late penalty.
In addition, late programs won't be accepted beyond midnight Thursday.

The course locker for you to submit prog0 has not been set up yet.
I've sent in a request last week, but apparently they have a backlog
of requests. If they're not set up by tomorrow noon, we'll have
some other solution for you. Stay tuned.

The startup code has info on reading the poly and coor files for prog0.

Lab today is at SocSci1 room 135 at 4pm.
Starting next week, lab will meet at Ming Ong PC lab
(Merrill Room 103 -- right side) on
Tue 2-4 and Wed 4-6.
- 1/8/08: The IEEE Vis 2008 contest was just announced.
This would make a great 2-3 person final project for those interested.
