Regarding slerps with multiple spins, I just checked the reference:
Graphics Gems III, pp. 96-97.
They use: theta - u * phi.
theta is the "net angle"
while phi is the "total angle" from start to end.

Welcome to CMP 161.
The enrollment has reached the maximum capacity of
the classroom.
There are no available classrooms with a larger capacity at this time.
However,
there is still a chance that we can find one
if another class with same schedule has a lower than expected enrollment.
We won't know about this till start of classes though.
