Lightforce Alpha
Alpha is dropped into a level with dimensional portals that provide a distorted view of the place that they will take you. You are armed with a cannon to defend yourself from the swarms of enemies that will take up positions between you and your goal. The ammo from this cannon draws in light to deal damage, but despite your ship blocking the light, it won't harm you. Use your warp drive to accelerate to much greater speed. Be wary, the distortion isn't harmful but it feels strange to new pilots.
