Hey there! I'm Huascar (pronounced wäs-kär), a CS grad student working with Prof. Jim Whitehead, and part of SIL.
My core research area is software engineering, with a focus on software evolution, search-driven software development, and on the human aspects of software development. The goal of my research is to improve programmer productivity. To achieve this, I study the above areas with the aim of inventing technologies that help people create, understand, and modify software rapidly.
I am also interested in the development and application of computational methods to address serious social issues in today's society, such as bullying in social networks.
