Hello classmates, The 100 yr celebration of Lemoore Union High School or as I prefer to call it "the Party on Main Street" was overwhelming. I spent the evening hugging people, shaking hands, laughing and remembering long lost memories. It was a day and an evening of looking at people, smiling and wondering if they were who you thought they were. I was hesitant to approach people at first, but as the evening wore on, I dropped all pretenses and just went up to people and asked them if they were who I thought they were. It was beyond all of my expectations, I saw so many people from different classes that I cannot begin to list the people that came back into my life for one brief moment. The music was superb, the food was very good, the people, however were magnificent. I did not realize how many people I knew from the graduating classes prior to and just after our year of graduation. What a treat it was to see so many of our high school friends. I have looked at my yearbooks a couple of times since then, and it has rekindled the energy of the Party On Main Street. Amazing. It was also so good to see some of our classmates that have been absent from our reunions and yearly get togethers. Careen, Betty, Al, Bill, Bob, just to name a few. The group photo is missing some classmates that were there, Shelley, Dave, Frank, Anthony and Manuel to name a few. [The group photo will be updated when I receive the official photo from the photographer. It may be different. - Hiram] A really big thank you must go to Cathy, Susie and Esther for getting the group photo started. Thanks ladies. I am so grateful to Greta Henley for bringing her camera and actually taking photos of people. I was in too much of a contact high to try taking photos. A huge thank you to the committee that worked for two years on the party also needs to be said with a special thanks going to the chairperson Kathy Neves.
