Course Description:
Lecture course for bioengineering, bioinformatics, and biology majors, focuses on engineering (i.e., changing) of proteins. Topics focus on practical aspects of protein engineering strategies that are crucial to modern biotechnology and biomedicinal applications.
Class meets on:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-11:45am, in Crown Class Room 201

Your grades will be based on your performance on

  1. Two homework assignments (using internet available computer resources) (20% total)
  2. A midterm exam (20%)
  3. A final exam (30%)
  4. A small (theoretical/computational) protein engineering/design task (20%)
  5. Participation in class (10%)
