  • B.S., Physics (Highest Honors in the Major) University of California Santa Cruz, 1999
  • Current master's student in the Applied Math and Statistics program at UCSC.

    Major Research Interests:
  • Educational measurement, psychometrics.
  • Bayesian networks and applications towards automated test design.
  • Bayesian parameter estimation in the context of Item Response Theory.

  • I received my B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz writing my senior thesis under the supervision of Professor Terrence Walker from the The Ohio State University in the area of physical cosmology. I am currently employed by CTB/McGraw-Hill as a statistical analyst in the research department. A slide that is supposed to encapsulate my life from a SOE class that I had to attend for incoming graduate students.
