Research Biography

I am a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering depatment of hallowed UCSC. I am a member of MEMS research group, headed by Dr. Kubby . This is my last year of the program, and my research interests are MEMS and NEMS design and fabrication. Currently, I am working on two major projects, MEMS based Fabry-Perot interferometer and Lamellar grating filters for Mid-wave infrared imaging (3-7 um). In the past, I was a member of NASA Ames' Nanotechnology group, where I have worked on development of carbon nanofiber NEMS switch. My interests are in the fabrication of MEMS and NEMS, and in particular bringing nanofabrication methods to wafer-scale high-yield processes.
