Membership rates for 2008. The following options are available: - $35 regular annual membership rate for 2008 - $15 reduced rate. People who can apply for the reduced rate include students (full proof of status; maximum of 4 years in a row) and permanent residents of selected countries. A country qualifies for the reduced rate in 2008 if its GNP per capita based on the World Bank Data for 1996 is no greater than $6,000. For example, this includes the countries where our four current Chapters reside (Brazil, Chile, India and South Africa). - $105 regular membership for 3 YEARS, covering 2008, 2009 and 2010. - $45 reduced rate for 3 YEARS, for members from qualifying countries (NOT AVAILABLE FOR STUDENT MEMBERSHIP) - $500 Lifetime Membership - Joint membership with IMS $35 + $71, which is a 25% discount on the regular IMS membership. This option is available only to regular members (not students or 3rd world or multi-year). (NOT AVAILABLE FOR STUDENT MEMBERSHIP).
The membership year is from January 1 to December 31. If a member joins or renews in any month of the year, a renewal payment will still be due January 1. The renewal period is January 1 to July 1; payment is due during this period. Reminders will be sent out in January and again in March. In accordance to ISBA bylaws, membership will be suspended if payment has not been received by July 1.
