Jeffrey Bergamini is a tenured professor of Computer Science at Cabrillo College, using a “learn by doing” project-based approach to teaching courses that contribute to Cabrillo's STEM Career and Academic Pathway. In addition to BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he did partial PhD work in the Database and Information Systems Group at UC Davis. His previous teaching experience includes several years at Cal Poly and Mendocino College, and he has also worked in the field as a programmer, webmaster, and sysadmin for organizations such as Microsoft, UC Davis, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and UAW. He has stood with his fellow workers as an organizer, founder and officer in several different labor unions. Since arriving at Cabrillo, he has earned an A.A. degree in Spanish, served on the Technology Committee, served as a council member and representative in the Cabrillo College Federation of Teachers, and also worked as a lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at UCSC.

Spring 2024 Office Hours

Monday/Wednesday 1315–1500, Tuesday 1330–1430, Thursday 1330–1530 in the STEM Center and simultaneously online.

Check my office in 827 if I'm not in STEM. Sometimes I get pulled over there if STEM is too loud or privacy is required.
