Information retrieval
So far my Information Retrieval research has been focused on the properties of large file systems. I've done some preliminary research on the
hierarchical distribution of security permissions, and am continuing that research
with additional data.
Other Research
I have a paper in progress exploring traffic analysis for discontinuous transmission (DTX) Voice over IP in order to do speaker identification.
As an undergraduate, I did research on heuristics for Upper-Confidence Bound Trees for Computer Go.
