CS290X: Topics in Security

Fall 2001

Instructor: Martín Abadi
Time: TTh 12:00-1:45
Location: Baskin Engineering Building room 156

In Fall 2001, Computer Science 290X was a graduate-level course on security. The course included an introduction to basic concepts and techniques in security (such as access control and cryptography). It also covered some more advanced topics (in particular, topics related to mobile code and to security protocols).

Thus, although "Topics in Cryptography" is the usual name for 290X, this quarter's course was not exactly a course on cryptography.

This course is now over. Please contact me for further information on its contents.
